Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Jackson Elementary, an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Primary Years Programme (PYP). As we begin another exciting year together, I am honored and grateful to serve as your principal and to be part of a community that is dedicated to excellence, growth, and student success.

At Jackson Elementary, we believe every child has the potential to achieve great things. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, act compassionately, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Through the IB PYP framework, our scholars engage in meaningful inquiry, explore real-world connections, and build the skills necessary to thrive in an ever-changing global society.

This year, we remain committed to fostering student agency, encouraging curiosity, and empowering learners to take ownership of their educational journey. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create learning experiences that challenge, inspire, and support every child. Together, we will continue to focus on academic excellence while nurturing the social-emotional growth and well-being of all students.

At the heart of Jackson Elementary is our strong partnership with families and the community. We recognize that student success is achieved when schools and families work collaboratively toward a shared vision. I encourage all families to stay engaged, participate in school events, and maintain open communication with our staff as we work together to support our scholars.

As an IB World School, PYP, we strive to develop internationally minded learners who embody the IB Learner Profile attributes. We are committed to helping students become knowledgeable, caring, reflective, and principled individuals who make positive contributions within their communities and beyond.

The start of a new school year brings endless possibilities and opportunities for growth. I am excited about the experiences, achievements, and memories we will create together.
